This massage is for medically complex individuals, such as those with chronic or terminal illness, advanced age or injury. We know now that touch is essential to our human existence. Serious illness may bring about feelings of agitation or fear and touch provides relief from uncertainty and grounds you to the here and now. Massage Therapy creates changes in our hormone production, decreasing cortisol and increasing dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins.
